Balayya #9 On TFI List, CBN To Blame!

Balakrishna AP Assembly controversy

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s comments in the AP Assembly sparked a major controversy. Nobody knows what set him off, but his reaction with words like Psycho Gadu and Evadu drew strong objections. The language was harsh and seen as unacceptable by many.

Some argue Balakrishna targeted Chiranjeevi, while others deny it. Whatever the case, his tone raised concerns. Still, his frustration had a point. He questioned why his name was placed ninth in a Film Development Corporation list despite his seniority and influence.

Chiranjeevi was listed first, but Balakrishna believed his name should have been second. He felt sidelined in his own government. That, he argued, was the real insult. The bigger issue remained: who exactly prepared this list that caused the uproar?

Balakrishna mentioned the Film Development Corporation but did not clarify whether it was APFDC or TGFDC. If it was TGFDC, Chairman Dil Raju held responsibility. Andhra Pradesh has no chairman for its FDC, adding more confusion to the matter.

Some suspected the Film Chamber, but the Chamber denied involvement when contacted by M9 News. Others believe the list came from the industry itself, especially after Pawan Kalyan alleged a theatre strike targeted his film Hari Hara Veeramallu.

Back then, several celebrities sought the Chief Minister’s time. The strike issue involved Dil Raju, so it is possible someone close to Pawan Kalyan influenced the list. This theory gained weight after Janasena took charge of the Cinematography Ministry.

Since 2024, Chandrababu Naidu handed industry matters to Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. The film industry no longer approaches Naidu and instead deals directly with Pawan. Even Balakrishna, despite his family ties to Naidu, finds himself ignored.
