Balineni Srinivas Reddy joined the Janasena Party immediately after the elections.
Balineni, with his three decades of experience, was very active in the party initially. He appeared like he would change the face of the Janasena Party in the district.
Even TDP leaders and cadres of the district have complained about admitting someone with whom they fought for years.
But it appeared like Pawan Kalyan trusted Balineni to change the fortunes of the party in the district.
We do not know what happened, but Balineni completely disappeared from Political Space for every month.
Even though Balineni is on the ruling side, he has no grip on the district administration.
The district administration still considers him an Opposition leader.
Janasena leaders are not moving with him, and TDP leaders are continuing to keep him away. Some key Janasena leaders of the district are with TDP’s Damacharla, upsetting Balineni.
Right from Day one of his joining, nobody trusted him.
It is widely believed that Balineni is just taking shelter in Janasena for the time being. He does not want to take the risk of being in the Opposition in a Hostile Government.
Many even in the Janasena believe he will desert the party and go back to the YSR Congress. So, he never got the support.
At one stage, there were rumors that Pawan Kalyan would induct Balineni into the cabinet and give him strength. Even that did not happen.
There are rumors in the district that Pawan Kalyan asked Balineni to stay low because the co-ordination in the alliance is a priority now.
So, Balineni is feeling suffocated there.
He is also upset with Pawan Kalyan for not setting things right for him.
Meanwhile, some of the cadres and leaders who came with Balineni silently moved back to the YSR Congress.
There are rumors in the district that he may even consider leaving the party if things continue like this.
