The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) has released the TVR ratings for news channels for Week 39.
In the 15+ age group category, TV9 and NTV continue to hold their usual top spots, ranking first and second respectively. TV5 climbed to third place this week, pushing ABN to the fourth position.
V6 News holds the fifth spot, followed by 10 TV in sixth. Sakshi TV, often seen as the YSR Congress mouthpiece, stands at seventh with a TVR of 19.8, compared to ABN’s 32.8.
Interestingly, T News, the channel affiliated with the BRS Party, remains at the bottom ranking fourteenth, just as in recent weeks. This continues to be a worrying trend for the ruling party, especially with the Jubilee Hills by-election and local polls approaching in Telangana.
In Hyderabad, TV9 leads the ratings chart, followed by V6 News in second place. ABN, Sakshi, TV5, and NTV take the next four spots in that order.
