When he was ruling the state, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy never allowed common people into his premises. He was sarcastically called the “Parada” (curtains) CM by the people and rival party leaders.

At that time, Jagan’s camp office in Tadepalli was surrounded by barricades and had huge security, troubling common people to reach the Chief Minister.

Finally, he has been dethroned and the alliance of TDP-JSP-BJP came into power in the state. After the shift in the government, the obstacles on the road surrounding the Tadepalli residence are being removed by the officials.

Last night, officials took action to make commuting easy on the four-lane highway that passes by Jagan’s residence.

Tyre killers, spike barriers and hydraulic bullets, which were used to obstruct people from entering the road, have been now removed with the help of a crane. This equipment works with electricity.

Along with these, rainproof tents which were erected on the road and police checkpost towards the Andhra Ratna Pumping Scheme were also removed.

All the removed material was transported by lorry. However, the containers are still on the roadside. They are expected to be removed soon.
