Very immediately after 2019 elections, BJP always showed intentions of going alone in 2019 elections. The center is not helping the state government as much as needed so that Naidu will not walk away with the credit of developing the truncated state. In Telangana, there are enough indications that the alliance may be called off any time after recurrent failures and many defections from T-TDP.

AP BJP seem to be not very different. BJP is organizing a huge public meeting on 6th of March in Rajahmundry. BJP National President Amit Shah will be attending the meeting. BJP Leaders say this meeting is a build-up for the 2019 elections and Amit Shah himself will give such indications in the meeting.
However even a layman in politics today say BJP is near to impossible to make any effect on AP politics since people are very disappointed at the center not adhering to the promises made to the state. Probably this Union budget will be the last chance for BJP to make up. The rest of the two budgets will any way be seen as poll gimmicks.
