The BJP government in the centre gave a special gift to AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s constituency, Pithapuram. The Railway Ministry responded positively to Pawan’s proposal, approving the request for four special trains to halt at Pithapuram.

Pawan is on an official tour to New Delhi. He is busy meeting the central ministers to discuss the plan of action for the development of AP.

In the process, he also met the Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. On this occasion, Pawan discussed various railway projects in the pipeline for AP.

During the meeting, Pawan requested the minister to construct a railway over bridge on the Samarlakota-Uppada road under the Pithapuram municipality. Pawan explained to the Union Minister that there is a lot of vehicular traffic on this road.

Pawan said that a railway over bridge is needed to solve traffic congestion and improve road connectivity. At the same time, Pawan requested that this project be given through the Prime Minister’s Gati Shakti program.

Pawan Kalyan also informed the Railway minister of a huge inflow of devotees coming to Sripada Vallabha Swamy temple in Pithapuram. Pawan requested that four important trains should be halted at Pithapuram railway station so that the devotees can be accommodated.

Nanded – Visakhapatnam Super Fast Express, Visakhapatnam – Sainagar Shirdi Express, Visakhapatnam – New Delhi Nanded – Sambalpur Nagavali Express and AP Express are the trains that Pawan requested for a halt at Pithapuram. Pawan also requested the minister to arrange a train from Maharashtra’s Latur to Tirupati.




It is reported that the Union Railway Minister has responded positively to Pawan Kalyan’s proposals and assured to fulfil them.
