Sunday’s Janasena campaign rally in Tatiparthi village, Pithapuram constituency, took a dangerous turn as Sai Dharam Tej faced an attempted assault by YSRCP goons as per Janasena leader Sandeep Panchakarla.
Sai Dharam Tej, who recently survived a major accident and has now returned to normal after a long recovery, luckily escaped being hit by a glass bottle thrown at him. Had the bottle hit his face, he would have suffered a major injury once again, but fortunately, the bottle did not hit his face.
Unfortunately, the glass bottle struck Janasena fan Nalla Sridhar directly in the face, who was immediately seen covered in blood.
As Sai Dharam Tej’s roadshow resumed and approached the Tatiparthi Gajjalamma temple center, these hooligans struck, targeting Tej with drink bottles.
This wasn’t an isolated incident. Earlier, while en route from Tatiparthi to Chinna Jaggampet, YCP cadres engaged in provocative actions during Sai Dharam Tej’s road show, resulting in chaos and confrontations with Janasena leaders and supporters.
This is setting a very bad example, as a hero like Sai Dharam Tej is loved across fandoms and castes for his down-to-earth behavior. Supporting his uncle Pawan Kalyan should not be the reason for attacking him.
JSP leader Sandeep Panchakarla questioned YSR Congress leaders, asking what they would say now that YS Jagan has been hit by a stone after all the drama they created. Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, who was also recently attacked with a stone, is expected to address this latest attack today.
