Coming to the topic, team India star cricketer Hardik Pandya has been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament.
A few minutes ago, the team announced that Hardik will not be a part of the team for the rest of the season as he has suffered an ankle injury and he isn’t in the right physical condition to carry on.
Hardik suffered the injury in the match against Bangladesh and he hadn’t been playing the last few matches for India. The team was hopeful of his return somewhere during the tournament, but this hope has crashed with the latest medical assessment confirming he can’t carry on.
India has roped in Prasidh Krishna as the replacement for Hardik and an official statement was issued a short while ago.
