KCR is hoping to expand his footprint in national politics with BRS and as a part of the same, he is entering AP politics as well. In this context, there have been reports on KCR’s affinity with Jagan and whether or not they might go to AP elections with mutual understanding.
Cut to now, the newly appointed BRS AP wing president, Thota Chandrasekhar has announced that BRS will be contesting in all 175 MLA seats in AP.
Thota stated that BRS is gaining more momentum n national politics and the same trend is continuing in AP as well. He announced that the KCR-led party will contest in the MLA constituencies in the state.
He also vowed to build the capital of AP in 3-4 years if they’re voted to power. He also promised to fully build Polavaram project, Kadapa Steel Plant, and other big projects.
There’s already a tense political climate in AP as YCP is going alone and there’re reports that TDP and JanaSena might contest together. And then theres BJP as well. Now if BRS too enters the race, it should be seen how things progress. Can BRS actually create a mark in AP? We shall see in next year’s election.
