Sukumar is making strong efforts to bring a celebrated Tamil hero on board Ram Charan’s upcoming film, tentatively referred to as RC17, for a key role, according to our M9 Exclusive information.
The makers initially considered a senior star for the part. However, due to commercial considerations, Vijay Sethupathi is now being considered as the second option.
Sukumar reportedly wants a prominent Tamil actor for the crucial role, potentially adding to the film’s appeal beyond Telugu audiences. However, the casting has not been finalised yet.
More clarity is expected around November 1, when the film’s pooja ceremony is scheduled to take place. Until then, Vijay Sethupathi’s possible inclusion remains a strong speculation.
In the past, Sukumar wasted a gifted actor like Fahadh Faasil in Pushpa 2. He was reduced to a joker in the second part. There were huge expectations for the face-off between Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, but Sukumar failed to make proper use of the actor’s potential.
Now, it remains to be seen who comes on board, Vijay Sethupathi or someone else. More importantly, will Sukumar make proper use of the actor’s potential this time?
