Known for his fiery advocacy for the Rayalaseema region, Byreddy is reportedly considering rejoining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), possibly along with his daughter.

There are speculations that Byreddy may be fielded as a candidate for the Nandyala Parliament constituency, or alternatively, his daughter might contest for an Assembly seat in the Kurnool district under the TDP banner.

It is anticipated that Byreddy will formalize his return to the TDP by the end of the month.

Internally, discussions within the TDP have centered around the allocation of Assembly segments within the Nandyala Parliament constituency.

While Byreddy has requested control over two Assembly segments, namely Nandikotkur and Paanyam, the TDP leadership seems hesitant to accommodate this demand.

Byreddy’s daughter, Byreddy Sabari, currently serves as the President of the BJP in the Nandyala district.

If the TDP agrees to allocate an additional Assembly seat, Sabari could potentially become a candidate for either Nandikotkur or Paanyam.

As part of the negotiations, the TDP has offered the Rajya Sabha MP seat to Sivananda Reddy, who serves as the party in-charge for Nandikotkur, and the MLC seat to Gowru Charita Reddy, the party in-charge for Paanyam.

Additionally, NMD Farooq has been announced as the TDP nominee for the Nandyala Assembly constituency.

The unfolding dynamics within the TDP and Byreddy’s impending return signal potential shifts in political alignments and strategies, particularly in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh.
