Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted interim bail for Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Medical Grounds. If the formalities are completed, Chandrababu will come out of the jail this evening itself.
There are reports that those in power have instructed officials to explore the possibility of arresting Chandrababu in another case and prevent him from coming out.
Legal experts say that may not be possible.
There are four cases in Chandrababu Naidu so far. He got an interim bail in the Skill Development Case.
There is an anticipatory bail for Chandrababu in the Angallu Violence Case.
The Government assured the Supreme Court that they would not arrest him till November 9th in the Fiber Net case.
The High Court posted the Inner Ring Road case to November 7th. The Andhra Pradesh High Court gave Chandrababu immunity from arrest until then.
The other day, the Government also moved another case regarding permissions to Liquor companies. Chandrababu moved a House Motion Petition for Anticipatory Bail in this case and the High Court is likely to hear it today.
Also, legal experts say it is interim bail on Medical Grounds it is unlikely that he can be arrested in another case.
