Jagan Government tried to prevent the Bad Press in the Vishakapatnam Gas Leakage issue by paying a hefty compensation but everything turned topsyturvy when the victims staged a Dharna at the LG Chem Polymers office the other day. The Government is now trying to shift the blame towards TDP.
YSR Congress owned Sakshi published the Main Page Story alleging that the TDP Government gave permissions for the industry expansion in 2017. TDP already put proofs in the Public domain how the permissions were refused in 2018 and were given in July 2019 when Jagan came to Power.
Leaving that aside, the Government is trying to dodge its responsibility in the issue. How a Plastic company was given permission to operate in the Lockdown? How did the Government term the company as an essential service in the Lockdown? Why Periodic Checks were not conducted in the Plant? are some of the questions evaded?
The Government also needs to answer why no arrests were made in the case even after three days of the incident and why the Chief Minister met the company representatives even before the victims? The Government should also answer why the case is booked with lighter sections.
