Looks like there is movement at the center regarding the increase in the Assembly seats of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Union Law Ministry sought an Administrative Report from both the state governments to carry out the delimitation proposal.

The Union Government is expected to table the bill in the upcoming Parliament Session which will begin from July 17th. Both the Chief Ministers are said to be on the same page in this issue and are exerting pressure on the Central government.
In fact, there was a talk that this bill will be tabled in the last elections but then the Center got busy with GST bills. As of now, under every MP segment, there are seven Assembly segments. They will be increased to nine which will take the MLA seats in AP to 225 (175 now) and in Telangana to 153 (119 now).
