Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu currently do not have a proper office to work in the common capital, Hyderabad. The allotted eighth floor of ‘L’ block in the AP Secretariat is not fit for usage and the government is taking up a massive renovation with over 10 crores budget. According to the instructions of the intelligence department, Bullet-proof glass sheets to the doors, windows and ventilators are going to be put to the eighth floor since there are buildings higher than ‘L’ block which will pose a severe security threat.
High-end electronic surveillance will be put in place to prevent any possible threats. It is said that the entire renovation works are going on at brisk pace and Chandra Babu will step in his new office in October first week which happens to be the auspicious Dusshera festival week. Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao is closely monitoring the entire renovation works.
