The arrest of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has sparked significant political upheaval in the Telugu states. Naidu, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief, faced an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) courtroom in Vijayawada amid tight security.
This followed his arrest in connection with an alleged corruption case, with his legal defense led by Supreme Court advocate Siddarth Luthra. The courtroom witnessed a gathering of TDP senior leaders and loyalists in support of their party president.
Amid all this discourse, Sridhar Vembu, CEO of Zoho, expressed support for Naidu on Twitter, highlighting his role in attracting companies to Andhra Pradesh. “I was shocked to read that Shri Chandrababu Naidu-ji was arrested yesterday. I know him, and he worked so hard to bring so many companies, including Zoho, to Andhra Pradesh. I hope justice prevails,” he wrote on Twitter.
