The arrest of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has been the biggest political development in the Telugu states in recent years and it has hogged all the limelight in the twin Telugu states.
Now, the latest update is that the ACB court has completed the hearing on the bail plea, and CID custody plea with regard to the CBN case.
The hearings have been wrapped up and the judgment has been put on reserve. The judge stated that the judgment has been reserved for Monday, meaning the wait continues that much longer.
Naidu’s remand had been extended till the 19th of this month as it was extended by two weeks on 5 October. In this context, the bail plea and the CID custody plea have caught the attention.
TDP troops have been hopeful of CBN’s release from judicial custody and that has added to the anticipation on the bail plea judgment. And more so, given that there is a widespread agitation against the arrest of the TDP chief.
