The Suspense over Telugu Desam Party’s Rajya Sabha Elections strategy is over. Chandrababu Naidu decided not to field a candidate and that means YSR Congress will walk away with all the three vacant seats in the Upper House.

Along with its strength, TDP needs an extra Twenty-five seats to win one of the three seats.

Jagan is hurting YSR Congress MLAs by denying and changing seats to many sitting MLAs. So many of them are upset with the party and ready to vote for the Telugu Desam Party.

If at all TDP wins a Rajya Sabha seat, it would be a big upset like in the MLC elections last year. That would also set the right mood for the upcoming elections.

But then, Chandrababu surprised everyone by skipping the election. YSR Congress and its affiliated media are celebrating it as their success and are mocking Chandrababu Naidu.

But then, Chandrababu strategically avoided the election. Winning the support of twenty-five YSR Congress MLAs is not a big deal but then, all these MLAs would want tickets and that is not possible.

Already TDP is having a tough time with too many aspirants and also there is Janasena to be accommodated. If BJP joins, it will be another headache.

Jagan should expect Chandrababu to contest and make ticket distribution complicated. Even if one Rajya Sabha seat is lost, it would be worth for YSR Congress. But Chandrababu did not give that chance.
