The arrest of Chandrababu is the focal point of Telugu states politics now. Here is something interesting that happened today while the quash petition filed by CBN’s counsel came to a hearing at the AP High Court today.
Justice K Srinivas Reddy, the main judge asked both counsels if they are okay with him at the bench as he had previously appeared against Chandrababu in a case when he was the public prosecutor.
Both the counsels confirmed that they had no such apprehensions and accepted the candidacy of Judge K Srinivas Reddy.
The general consensus is that Andhra Pradesh’s political and social fabric is heavily influenced by the caste system.
In this context, CBN’s counsel having no apprehensions over Justice K Srinivas Reddy adjudging the case has caught the attention. And more so, given that he had appeared against CBN in a case back in the day.
Naidu evidently has no issue with the judge being a Reddy. This is a bold act, given the current condition in AP.
