It is known to our readers that Vijayasai Reddy announced his Political Retirement and resigned as the Rajya Sabha MP.
Later, there were reports that he tried to join the BJP, but Chandrababu Naidu blocked him.
Sai Reddy is making unsettling comments against the previous government in Liquor Scam but without taking the name of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The 305-page preliminary charge sheet filed by the SIT in the liquor scam case came to light on Sunday.
The Charge Sheet clearly mentions Sai Reddy’s name.
The main accused (A-1) Raj Kasireddy used to collect Rs 50-60 crore every month and hand over the amount to YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy (A-4), then YSRCP leader Vijayasai Reddy (A-5), Bharathi Cements Director Govindappa Balaji (A-33), who looked after the financial affairs of Jagan’s wife Bharathi.
They used to transfer the money to Jagan from time to time. It has come to light that Rs 3,500 crore was looted in this way.
It is clear that Chandrababu Naidu is in no mood to spare Sai Reddy.
Even though he has been making negative comments against the then Government in Liquor Scam case, his name still figured in the Charge Sheet.
From here, he has to go down by protecting Jagan Mohan Reddy or turn approver in this case.
If he turns Approver in this case, he may do the same in the disproportionate assets cases as well.
Vijayasai Reddy is the A-2 in all the disproportionate assets cases of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Except for Sai Reddy, all the top five accused are in jail already.
MP Mithun Reddy was arrested the other day, and he was given to the Judicial Remand until August 1st.
Until now, the SIT has not mentioned Jagan Mohan Reddy as the Accused in this case.
But it appears like it is only a matter of time, and the arrest may be imminent as well.
