CBN Names TDP In-Charge for Jana Sena Seat

Boddu-Venkataramana-Chowdary-Chandrababu-NaiduAs per recent announcements, Boddu Venkata Ramana has been appointed as the TDP incharge for the Rajanagaram segment. He is the son of late TDP leader Boddu Bhaskara Rama Rao, who had joined YSRCP before the 2019 elections.

Meanwhile, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan traveled to Delhi to attend the NDA meeting after receiving an invitation from the BJP. During the meeting, Pawan stated that TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP would be forming an alliance for the AP General Elections.

However, there has been no official response from the TDP regarding Pawan’s comments on the alliance. This has resulted in confusion among both TDP and Jana Sena cadre about the potential alliance. Despite this, CBN has been announcing TDP candidates for different segments almost on a daily basis.

Pawan Kalyan has undertaken two tours in the Godavari districts within the past month. Jana Sena’s social media activists have mentioned that Jana Sena might assign some seats to TDP in two districts.

In one surprising instance, Pawan Kalyan announced a Jana Sena candidate in Tanuku without prior discussion with the TDP, leaving TDP leaders taken aback. Jana Sena is expected to contest in several seats across the state, including Bhimavaram, Narsapuram, Tanuku, Rajanagaram, Avanigadda, Sattenapalli, and Nellore Urban.

CBN’s actions of announcing candidates for most of these segments, except for Bhimavaram and Narsapuram, indicate that the TDP is signaling to the public that it will be contesting alone without forming an alliance with Jana Sena or any other party.
