YSRCP Owns Paper, Channel to Spread Lies: CBN

Chandrababu addressing public gathering

CM Chandrababu addressed a massive public meeting at Peddapuram in East Godavari. He raised a serious question, asking the crowd who actually owns media in Andhra Pradesh politics. He said TDP does not own media, Pawan Kalyan does not own media, and even BJP does not own media.

He claimed that it is YSRCP chief Jagan who owns a newspaper and a television channel across Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu alleged that people with a criminal mindset, like Jagan, use media to spread lies. He said history shows that leaders who rely on wrong politics never last long.

Chandrababu added that criminals are not only entering politics but also winning elections. He reminded people that Andhra Pradesh once faced naxal violence. He fought against it, not for personal benefit, but to ensure security and prosperity for the people.

He recalled that even after an attempt on his life, he did not step back. He said he ended factionism in Rayalaseema and stopped communal violence in Hyderabad. His efforts, he claimed, brought peace and unity.

According to Chandrababu, the people gave a historic mandate to TDP by electing 94% of its candidates. He said YSRCP won only 11 seats in the Assembly, while a party needs 19 seats for opposition status. Still, there is a vicious opposition party outside the Assembly.

He asked people to think carefully. Just like a village full of thieves and murderers cannot attract guests for a marriage, a political party too depends on credibility. He stressed that both parties and leaders must carry credibility.

He criticised opposition leaders for spreading false propaganda and attacking women on social media. He said they are surviving on fake news and wrongful acts.

Chandrababu questioned if such leaders should be allowed in politics. Referring to Vivekananda Reddy’s murder, he said they first called it a heart attack, and later their media spread lies by naming him as the murderer.

He said these lies helped them win elections. But everyone knows the truth today. He asked if people like this should continue in politics.

Since coming back to power in 2024, CM Chandrababu has been actively raising his voice against what he calls criminal politics. He urged people to stay alert and protect democracy from such practices.
