TDP President Chandrababu has not visited Konaseema in recent times. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan has visited every constituency. This has instilled a lot of self-confidence in the Janasena workers. They believe that if an alliance is formed, Janasena will contest more seats in the region than TDP. This has caused some trouble for the TDP workers. In this context, Chandrababu’s visit brought a lot of relief to TDP.
TDP’s national president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, visited the Kothapet assembly constituency as part of the second day of Dr. BR Ambedkar’s visit to Konaseema district and was met with a large crowd.
The 20 km yatra started from Gummileru in Alamuru mandal at 4 pm on Thursday and reached Ravulapalem at 7 pm. People warmly welcomed Chandrababu in Gummileru, Kothur Center, and Alamur.
Along the way, women performed aarti and showered flowers. Chandrababu joined a huge rally and took a ticket on the RTC bus headed towards Ravulapalem. Thousands of people welcomed the procession, including students with firecrackers, as they arrived at Ravulapalem College. They crossed the Jonnada-Ravulapalem Bridge over the Gautami River.
It took more than an hour to travel a kilometer from the Ravulapalem bridge to the Sabha premises.
At the Ravulapalem Centre, large cutouts featuring symbols of the schemes mentioned in Chandrababu’s Mini Manifesto were placed near Chandrababu’s vehicle with the help of a crane.
Later, Kumsampudi Ramaraj of Atreyapuram Mandal Tadipudi specially crafted a 38-foot Putarekula gajamal for Chandrababu Naidu. From there, thousands of fans accompanied Chandrababu to the Market and went to the Sabhasdhali amidst a shower of flowers. Chandrababu congratulated former TDP MLA Bandaru Satyananda Rao for the success of the public meeting in Ravulapalem.
