IT Companies to Conduct Dope Test on Doubtful Employees?

The Drug Case Sensation in Hyderabad has hit IT Companies as well. The Police have been making arrests of Techies for Drug Abuse as well as Drug Peddling. HR departments of some companies are sending emails to their employees on drug awareness.

The messages indirectly alerting them to repercussions if an employee is found to be involved with narcotics. Sources say that two companies have collected blood and urine samples from some employees after the drug bust.

Some of the companies have begun to include drug awareness modules in their personality development sessions. The IT Companies Associations are mulling the idea of making it mandatory for candidates to undertake the dope test before they go on rolls.
