Telangana Congress Rajya Sabha MP, Palvai Govardhan Reddy breathed his last earlier today. Palvai is in Kulu Manali to attend a Parliamentary meeting there. While travelling in car, Palvai suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest. The other MPs have shifted him to a nearby hospital.

Doctors who have tested him declared him as dead. Palwai was accompanied by his wife and Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy. Palvai is five times MLA in United Andhra Pradesh and even worked as an MLC. He is currently the Rajya Sabha MP from Congress.
Efforts are on to bring the mortal remains from Kulu Manali to Hyderabad. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao remembered his relation with Palwai and expressed his heart-felt condolences to the family. Telangana government is going to conduct the final rites with state honour.
