Congress Party was reduced to a Zero seats party from the ruling party in the last elections for the bifurcation sins they have committed. The faulty bifurcation act they have brought up is still haunting the state even two years after the division. Congress on the other side is trying its level best to bring back the past glory.

The party is already being more vocal than the main opposition, Congress in various issues and is bringing Rahul Gandhi to rejuvenate the cadre. The Congress Vice President who already visited Anantapur twice, will visit Uttarandhra on August 6th. Rahul will be promising Special Status to the state if voted to power.
However this may backfire political analysts believe as it will only remind of the forced bifurcation and that flawed bill to the people. Experts say Congress need not hope on redemption in the state for at least couple of terms from now.
