Below is the strict legal order passed by Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand.

Several organizations and parties are attempting to create disturbances affecting public peace and order in Hyderabad through dharnas and protests.

In response, CP Hyderabad City Police has imposed Section163 of the BNSS (previously Section144) in Hyderabad city for one month, from 27.10.2024 to 28.11.2024.

Peaceful dharnas and protests are permitted only at Indira Park Dharna Chowk; they are not allowed in other locations within the city.

The CP, Hyderabad City Police, has issued a notification prohibiting any gathering of five or more persons, as well as processions, dharnas, rallies, and public meetings within the limits of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.




This precautionary move has surprised many city residents, especially as it coincides with KTR and Revanth Reddy’s head-to-head confrontation and occurs during the Diwali week.
