YS Sharmila aimed to be an important player in the Telangana political landscape and the event did an elaborate walkathon across the state after floating YSRTP. But she backed out at the last minute by not contesting this year’s election. She announced support to Congress instead.
Today, a day before the counting in Telangana, Sharmila did something intriguing and unexpected as she sent a suitcase to KCR.
But not to worry, this is not a suitcase filled with money or anything. It is just a political satire Sharmila played on KCR as she pasted the quote “Telangana People Say Bye Bye KCR” on the suitcase. She has thrown a curveball at KCR with this satirical present, a day before the verdict.
Sharmila’s implication appears to be that KCR’s time as the chief minister of Telangana is over and he will have to pack his bags. She had been actively trying to bring down KCR and kept targeting the BRS leader in all her political speeches. Going by her latest act, she is confident that BRS will be stripped off power in this election.
