IT Major Dell on Wednesday submitted a proposal to the Andhra Pradesh Government for initiating a technology-driven education system in the state from the next academic year. A delegation of the company met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and gave him a presentation of their technology, which helps in improving the educational standards in schools using technology.

Naidu was impressed with the idea and asked Dell to come up with concrete proposals and plan of action that would be beneficial to the 72 lakh students in government and private schools in the state. AP government is keen on bringing reforms in education system of the state by by introducing a new educational policy from the 2016-17 academic year.
Dell will come up with their proposals by June and they have evinced interested in partnering with the state government in this regard. Dell is already working on projects in Brazil and Pakistan to improve educational standards in schools. In India, they have partnered with Harayana for the last two years and that was yielding good results.
