Jana Sena Srikalahasti in-charge Kota Vinutha has been suspended by the party. Srinivasaulu alias Rayudu belonging to Bokkasampalana in Srikakulam died in Chennai.
Rayudu used to work as a driver and PA with Kota Vinutha. His family members insist Rayudu’s death was a murder. Chennai police have come to Srikalahasti to inquire about the case.
As there are allegations of Kota Vinutha being involved in the murder, Jana Sena suspended her from the party.
The Kota couple were arrested in the case as per primary evidence and the party took disciplinary action immediately. The body of Rayudu was found near Kuvam river in Chennai. Rayudu worked as a PA for Kota couple in the past.
The symbol of Jana Sena and Vinutha’s name were found on Rayudu’s hand. Along with Kota Vinutha, husband Chandrababu and three others have been arrested in the case.
Incidentally, on June 21, Kota Vinutha gave a paper and social media message saying she removed Rayudu for cheating her. She said she had nothing to do with Srinivasulu henceforth. Just days after that, Rayudu was found murdered.
For some time now, the Kota couple were kept away from the party as their activities did not align with party principles. Now, after they have been arrested, the party suspended them.
The suspension has become a reason for talk among political circles. Many are talking of Jana Sena’s commitment towards weeding out members who are working against the party principles.
In 2024, Krovvidi village head Indrakumar was suspended for vulgar dances. Recently, East Godavari district Kovvur constituency incharge TV Rama Rao was removed from the party.
Back to Kota couple, more details are awaited as the police are investigating the case.
