The Maha Padayatra of Amaravati farmers from Amaravati to Arasavelli has reached Gudivada. The Padayatra will happen in the constituency for the next two days.
But when the farmers are right on the outskirts of the Gudivada constituency, YSR Congress leaders have sent them a warning.
“We do not go after anyone but if anyone comes in our way, we will throw them in the air and cut them into pieces (Egaresi Narukutham)”, the flexies carried the message.
The flexis and banners were named after YCP Yuvadalam.
The local administration is accused of ignoring them even though there are open threats of violence and possible law and order issues.
YSR Congress government had tried its best to stall the Padayatra by not giving the necessary permissions. The farmers have gone to court and obtained the permissions.
We have seen the Chief Minister, ministers, and the party leaders trying to provoke the people of other areas against the Padayatra.
