In the upcoming General Elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be contesting from Kerala’s Wayanad for the second time in his career. He is the sitting MP of that constituency.
On Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi filed his nomination in Wayanad. As per the affidavit, Rahuls’ movable assets are worth Rs. 9.24 crore and immovable assets are worth Rs. 11.14 crore. His total assets are valued at Rs. 20 crore.
According to his affidavit, Rahul has stock market investments of Rs. 4.3 crore, mutual fund deposits of Rs. 3.81 crore, and a bank balance of Rs. 26.25 lakh.
He declared his income as Rs. 1,02,78,680 in the financial year 2022-23. He has gold bonds worth Rs. 15.2 lakh and jewellery assets worth Rs. 4.2 lakh. Rahul stated that he has only Rs. 55000 in cash.
Rahul Gandhi will be contesting against CPI’s Annie Raja and BJP’s Kerala president K. Surendran in Wayanad. He is confident of reclaiming the seat once again.
