The Hyderabad police arrested former Bodhan BRS MLA Shakil Aamir’s son, Raheel aka Sahel, at the Shamshabad Airport earlier this morning.
Raheel was allegedly involved in a drunk-and-drive car accident that happened in front of Praja Bhavan on December 24. He has absconded since then.
Right after the accident, Raheel flew abroad and didn’t return to India. After getting information about his arrival, the police arrested him at the Airport this morning.
According to the police, Raheel rammed his luxury car into a barricade in front of Praja Bhavan located at Begumpet. His family tried to escape the legal consequences by involving an unrelated individual in the accident.
However, the police had proof of Raheel driving the car. They had waited for his arrival and arrested him right after he arrived in Hyderabad.
