In a shocking incident, a Hyderabad resident died by suicide after her husband complained about the amount of chutney that was put in his place.
The incident happened at an apartment in Banjara Hills Road Number 2, where Sujatha Nagar native Ramana and Khammam native Banothu Chandana, 25, have been residing after getting married two years ago.
Incidentally, on Sunday night, a fight broke out between the couple after Ramana complained that his wife Chandana poured excess chutney on his plate. The couple quarreled on this for a while.
Ramana, who works as a driver for Tollywood producer Bandla Ganesh went to his duties on Monday morning. His wife kept calling him multiple times and tried video calling as well. But he didn’t pick up the phone. After a while, he picked the phone and was shouted at by his wife who said he is intentionally troubling her and threatened to commit suicide.
The man hurriedly called the house owner to check on his wife’s condition. When the owner burst open the door with help from the neighbors, they found the lady in a lifeless condition as she had committed suicide, A police case has been filed and Ramana is in police custody now.
