The suspense around the alliance between the BJP and TDP-JSP may finally end soon. For the last few weeks, there were speculations about this alliance but leaders from both sides remained tight-lipped about it.
Amidst these speculations, Andhra Pradesh’s BJP leaders Somu Veerraju and Daggubati Purandeswari were called to Delhi by the party’s high command today. They are scheduled to meet the party’s president JP Nadda this evening.
Reportedly, the trio will discuss the possible alliance with Telugu Desam and JanaSena for the upcoming general elections.
If things fall in place, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and JSP president Pawan Kalyan may visit Delhi tomorrow to discuss seat sharing and other aspects of the alliance.
If the alliance materialises, we may also get clarity about seat sharing between the three parties and the announcement of the second list of candidates.
