Telangana CM Revanth Reddy made a ‘partyllev’ kind of statement. The CM put forth the name or rather demanded the Center that Bandaru Dattatreya be made the next vice president of India.
Revanth Reddy started off by saying he was unaware of the reasons behind Dhankar’s exit. Reddy pointed out that Bandaru Dattetraya’s term as Himachal Governor ended. So, the Central government must look at picking the next VP from Telangana.
The Telangana CM said though Telugu was the second most spoken language in India, the BJP government slighted the Telugu states. He said in the case of ex VP Venkaiah Naidu, the BJP did not make him the president, though there was a talk. They did ghar wapsi for him, the CM told the media.
Then, the CM played the OBC card. Revanth Reddy said that Bandi Sanjay was removed from the state president’s post. When Bandaru Dattatreya was the central minister, he was removed and Kishan Reddy was made Union Minister.
The NDA government has killed OBC leaders. They must make Dattatreya vice president of India to wipe away their mistakes. I am talking for Telangana and for OBCs, said the Telangana Chief Minister.
