Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao who was saying that the existing schemes will be much sufficient for TRS victory may have sensed trouble or may have been extra cautious but he announced a slew of schemes, increments on existing schemes, loan waiver, unemployment allowance etc the other day as the part of TRS Manifesto.

The remaining parties have also made similar tall claims already. That will mean that Telangana will be in for huge economic burden whichever party wins in the upcoming elections. Going by TRS Manifesto, Telangana will be footing a whopping 1.3 Lakh Crore towards the Welfare Schemes and Employee Salaries Bill.
This is all non-revenue expenditure and moreover, there are expenses to be made on infrastructure development as well. A whopping 2.5 Lakh Crore is needed in the budget to meet all these promises. Telangana should consistently grow at 15% or more for the next few years if these promises are to be met with.
Given that Mahakutami is yet to unveil its Manifesto, expect them to include more of them in their manifesto which will only cost more. So, Telangana will have a huge financial burden in the coming days regardless of which party is winning this election. Telangana is going to elections on December 7th and the results will be out on 11th.
