YSR Congress has announced Shilpa Mohan Reddy who joined the party from TDP recently as its candidate for Nandhyala Byelection. TDP’s Candidate, Bhuma Brahmanandha Reddy has sympathy factor working in his favour while YSR Congress will be banking on Shilpa’s experience here.

But then, YSR Congress is worried about Group Politics prevalent in the party post Shilpa’s Joining. After Bhuma left YSR Congress, Jagan appointed Raja Gopal Reddy as the party in charge and he is expecting this seat after Bhuma’s demise.
Raja Gopal Reddy is very disappointed with Jagan giving the ticket to Shilpa who joined the party at the last minute. Raja Gopal Reddy and his supporters are working against Shilpa in this election. The Opposition party will only hope that it will not destroy the party’s chances in the by-election.
Surveys commissioned by TDP revealed that Shilpa is a Good Candidate but Bhuma Family holds the edge due to the sympathy factor that emerged due to Bhuma Nagi Reddy’s death. That indicates that YSR Congress has got a formidable candidate in the form of Shilpa.
