Jagan - Pawan KalyanAhead of the re-opening of Cinemas, Andhra Pradesh in a major relief to the industry has decided to do away with the controversial G.O. restricting film ticket prices to the rates of 2011. This G.O. which was never followed in many years was brought out during the release of Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab in April.

The Government insisted on those rates and the movie suffered. However, immediately before the release of next biggie, the Government has amended the Cinematography act to fix the rates on a film to film basis that means the makers can apply and get higher rates.

In layman terms, the Government will decide the prices of tickets for every biggie and it will depend on the relation with the star/producer with the Ruling Party. Pawan Kalyan Fans are enraged at this move as they say it is established that the Vakeel Saab episode is clearly Vendetta.

Also, they fear Government reserving the right to decide rates on case to case basis means Vakeel Saab has all chances to repeat for future films of the Janasena President. “Basically, the Government wants the industry to fall in line by reserving the right to decide the rates,” many allege.
