It is known that Future City is Revanth Reddy’s dream project. The latest update is that hi-speed rail line connecting Future City and Amaravati has been approved in spirit.
In the state division act, there is a promise for greenfield expressway between Amaravati and Future City. The Telangana government is asking the Center for an expressway between Future City and Amaravati along with a railway line connecting the dry port to come up in the area to Mangalagiri.
The Telangana state government is contemplating building a rail line alongside the expressway. It is being said that the Union government agreed to the proposal in principle when Telangana CM Revanth Reddy met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Meanwhile, according to reliable sources, it has emerged that the responsibility of finalizing the route map of Future City-Amaravati expressway has been assigned to a company.
The expressway will boost economic growth, inter-state ties and logistics development. For the unversed, Hyderabad-Amaravati expressway has been approved after 11-year wait following bifurcation.
