Ranabaali Sound Issue: Makers Ask Theatres to Turn It Up

Ranabaali background score and theatre sound issue

Ranabaali has been facing criticism over its background score since its release. Starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, the film was released in theatres on October 16. While the visuals and production design have received appreciation, the background score and pacing have not worked for everyone.

Due to the feedback makers have now asked theatres to increase the sound levels. Some viewers felt that the sound was not coming through properly, prompting the team to issue new instructions to distributors.

The makers have reportedly asked theatres to increase the sound levels from 5.6 to 6 or 6.6, saying that the earlier setting was not optimal for the film. The change is expected to help audiences experience the sound as intended by the team.

However, it remains to be seen how much difference this will make. A background score can add impact to action scenes and emotional moments, but increasing the volume may not address all the complaints about the film.

Apart from the music, some viewers have also pointed out the film’s slow pacing. So, while the sound adjustment could improve the theatrical experience, it may not be enough to change the overall response to Ranabaali.
