Chandrababu Naidu Bail

Andhra Pradesh High Court granted Interim Bail for Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Justice T Mallikarjuna Rao granted interim bail for four weeks on Medical Grounds.

The lawyers representing the Former Chief Minister brought to the notice of the court that Chandrababu is in jail for fifty days without any substantial allegations on him in the Remand Report of Skill Development case.

They informed the court that Chandrababu is suffering from many health issues and also require an immediate cataract operation. The lawyers representing the Government argued that these are age-related issues and the Cataract operation is not immediately required.

They said Chandrababu is using medical grounds to secure bail and it should not be entertained.

The Judge also took note of the medical reports and decided in favor of Chandrababu.

The lawyers representing Chandrababu also moved a Regular Bail application and the lawyers representing the Government sought more time to put up their arguments. It will come up for hearing as well.

Chandrababu will walk out of the jail after spending fifty-two days inside in what appears to be a flimsy case.
