Amaravati is set to get another landmark structure with the Union Minister ML Khattar approving the HUDCO Convention Center. The HUDCO Board has allocated 10 acres for the project, with 8 acres cleared by APCRDA in Guntur and 2 acres under process.
The upcoming world-class facility will be modeled on New Delhi’s India Habitat Center. It will serve as a hub for HUDCO officers, training in housing and urban development, and will also act as a financial center for both national and international agencies.
Planned features include a green atrium, spacious convention halls, guest rooms, recreation facilities, and club areas. This ambitious project is expected to benefit both HUDCO and APCRDA by combining development with sustainability and global-scale infrastructure.
The HUDCO Center reflects the vision of CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and PM Modi. Once completed, it is expected to attract investments, boost the economy, and position Amaravati as a hub for international events and conventions.
