A couple living in Saam Enclave worked at Shamshabad Airport and came from Kadapa. They had no children even after eight years of marriage. After many attempts, they chose IVF and waited hopefully for the arrival of their twins.
When the woman reached eight months of pregnancy, she suffered severe abdominal pain. She went to a hospital in Attapur with her mother. Doctors examined her and told the family that the unborn twins had died in the womb.
She was then shifted to a hospital in the Gudimalkapur area on medical advice. She died there while receiving treatment. Her husband returned home in deep shock after losing both his wife and unborn children in one night.
The next morning, the hospital called him to collect her body and finish formalities. After several unanswered calls, his family broke open the door. They found him hanging from a ceiling fan inside the house.
Both families are devastated by the series of events. Friends and colleagues are mourning the loss of the couple and the unborn twins. The tragedy has left the community in grief.
