For the unversed, there was a horrific mass shooting at Allen Premium Mall, Dallas, Texas on Saturday. The shooting killed 8 people while leaving 7 people injured.
Now, in a distressing development, it is confirmed that Aishwarya Thatikonda, a Hyderabad native has been killed in this horrific mass shooting.
Aishwarya and her fiancé were at the mall and they sadly got in the firing line as a man started firing from outside the mall. Aishwarya took multiple bullets and died on spot while her fiancé, who took 3 bullets was shifted to the hospital and is out of immediate danger.
Aishwarya is from Saroornagar area of Hyderabad and her father Narsi Reddy is the judge at Rangareddy district court.
Aishwarya and her fiancé planned to start a new phase of their lives after getting married soon. But sadly, Aishwarya lost her life in the mass shooting at the Allen mall, a place that is often visited by the Indian community.
The shooter was identified and shot dead by the police shortly after the mass shooting. But the damage had been done already.
The family of the deceased are distraught with the news and the household is in deep pain now. We wish strength to family and friends in this hour of grief.
