Andhra Pradesh’s Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Narayana stated that the government might take action similar to HYDRAA in Andhra Pradesh if illegal constructions are found.
Earlier today, Narayana, along with Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao, inspected the Kapuluppada dumping yard in Visakhapatnam.

During his visit, Narayana toured the Solid Waste Management Centre at the dumping yard and reviewed the work procedures at the site.
Speaking to the media, Narayana warned that in the 121 municipalities across the state, if anyone attempts to illegally grab or seize government lands, the government would take stringent action without hesitation.

He asked people to vacate any government lands they have illegally occupied. He further stated that if necessary, the government would implement a HYDRAA-like system in Andhra Pradesh as well.
MLA Ghanta Srinivasa Rao alleged that some people have illegally constructed buildings on government parks’ lands in Visakhapatnam. He assured that legal action would be taken against those structures.

HYDRAA is a new department introduced by the government of Telangana last month. Since its inception, HYDRAA has been demolishing various illegal constructions across Hyderabad that were built by encroaching lakes.
Now, Narayana hinted that even the AP government may introduce a similar system to take action against illegal constructions across the state.
