Telugu Desam Party and Janasena Party had their first coordination committee meeting together in Rajahmundry. Nara Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan headed the respective members of their parties.
The meeting was held indoors and later Nara Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan spoke to the media together.
“Chandrababu was put in jail illegally. Bail is being denied in the name of technical issues. We met in Rajamahendravaram to support Chandrababu. We met to reassure people. We discussed what the joint manifesto should look like. We discussed at length how TDP-Janasena should work together. We will announce the minimum joint plan soon,” Pawan Kalyan said.
Pawan Kalyan said both parties would work jointly initially and later the JAC will decide if he and Lokesh should campaign together.
“We will announce the joint action from November 1st. We will go house to house to explain about this tyrant rule. Draft voter list will be out on October 25th. We will also together work on it. We will take up Development and Welfare parallely. We will do welfare with development, not by taking loans as Jagan is doing. Not even one industry came to the state this five years. Youth are going to other states,” Lokesh told.
He also elaborated about the three resolutions passed in this meeting.
“We passed three resolutions in this meeting. One resolution was to protest the arrest of Chandrababu Babu, another was to protect the people from the anarchic rule of YSR Congress, and the third was to fight together for the development of the state,” Lokesh said.
