The hugely anticipated World Cup final match between India and Australia is set to be played on the 19th of November and the excitement surrounding the same has hit the very peak.
Now, the latest updates are suggesting that the ticket prices for the final match start at Rs 10,000. The hospitality stand tickets might be costing much more than that.
In order to cash in on the craze for the final game, hotel owners are said to have massively spiked the charges. An unnamed hotel that reportedly charges Rs 15K per night usually is now charging Rs 1 lakh per night for 19 November.
Most of the other hotels in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, have spiked their prices up to 5X based on the demand. Regardless of the massive hike in the prices, the tickets for the game and the hotel bookings are at an all-time high.
It is said that people are even booking hospital beds in the name of check-ups for 19 November which speaks volumes about the hype this World Cup final is carrying.
Prime Minister Modi will attend the final game and there will be an elaborate air show with Indian army aircraft before the start of the game. The game will start at 2 PM on 19 November.
