Telangana Finance Minister Eetela Rajendra has confirmed that the Intensive Household Survey taken up by the state is not a single day affair and will go on continuously. Eetela announced in Telangana Assembly that the government very soon will announce the process for the registration of those who missed the survey previously. Eetela reiterated that the survey was conducted only for the identification of genuine beneficiaries and requested opposition parties not to doubt the intention of the survey.
Earlier TDP leader Revanth Reddy mentioned in the Assembly how several working class were prevented the chance of participating in the survey as the government cancelled all RTC bus services on that day.
MIM Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi also mentioned that the survey did not cover at least 25% people in GHMC limits. He requested government to allow the enrollment in Mee Sevas and also start a special website for registrations.
