TDP has ended up with a sensational defeat in the recent elections. Several reasons have contributed to the defeat. Among those reasons is Chandrababu’s failure to control Chintamaneni Prabhakar who dragged the party and government in controversies every now and then for one reason or another.
Things are not very different for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as well. On Saturday, two YSR Congress Leaders found themselves into controversies. A case was filed on Nellore Rural MLA, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy for vandalizing a lady MPDO’s house after she did not give water connection to the house of his follower.
This is not the first time Kotamreddy found himself. Earlier, a case was booked on him for trying to assault a Journalist. The Chief Minister neither responded on these allegations until now nor tried to talk to Kotamreddy asking him to mend ways.
On the other side, Producer Bandla Ganesh filed a complaint on PVP alleging that he is trying to exhort money in the name of Jagan. This has brought a lot of bad press to YSR Congress. Luckily, Bandla is in such controversies in the past and so, the damage is not that big. Its high time Jagan should speak to his leaders and rein them so as not to spend the wrong impression about the government to the people.
